So it began...

It all began on a lovely July evening. She was in Munich, Germany I was in Kaiserslautern, Germany. Spain was just about to overthrow Germany in the World Cup when I received a message on Facebook from a girl that I didn't know. The weekend before this, I was visiting a friend in Schweinfurt, Germany where I brought him onto the US military base there and bought some delicious American vegan food and snacks for him. This girl was asking about this and initially all I knew was that she was beautiful. We talked back and forth for a while until my decision had been made that I would come visit her in Munich the next weekend and bring her American goods in exchange for a day of sightseeing and muffins.



We met in the Munich Hauptbahnhof at around 10 am and began our journey around the city. By about 4 pm we found ourselves sitting on a park bench having a conversation. I was terribly nervous and likely rambling, this girl was not only beautiful and unique but intimidatingly intelligent and funny. I was very attracted to her and had been plotting to make a move for at least the past hour. I couldn't seem to find the courage to do anything, but I suggested that we go hang out and watch Predator together. While watching Predator, we began cuddling and kissing and that was it. I was stuck on her. Sold.
The next morning we met for coffee and to spend some more time together before I had to depart back to Kaiserslautern. We shared nice conversation and cuddled a bit on the couch of the coffee shop. I needed her, she needed me. Perfect.



We talked on Skype and through Facebook every day. Just waiting for the next time we would see each other...
